1️⃣ What Is Ghost Directive?

  • Ghost Directive is a real-world espionage game that blends strategy, live action, and intelligence gathering.
  • Players assume roles as operatives, agents, or assets—taking on covert missions that unfold in the real world.
  • This isn’t a video game. There are no respawns, no save points, and no easy answers.
  • Every mission has real consequences within the game’s structure—your success or failure shapes your trajectory.
  • You will interact with real locations, real people, and encrypted in-game communications.

📡 The Directive is simple: Adapt. Observe. Execute. Disappear.

2️⃣Your Role in the Game

🔎 There are three primary roles in Ghost Directive, each with a ramp-up period where you must prove yourself in the field. The Center does not train—you learn by doing.

🔹 Assets (Free Tier)You start at the ground level, handling basic field tasks like drop-offs, surveillance, and intel gathering. But every mission you complete moves you up. Perform well, and you can advance to Operative, Agent, or even command your own faction. The more you play, the more you unlock.

🔸 Operatives ($29/mo)You skip the waiting line and go straight to work. Operatives are trusted with intelligence gathering, setting up operations, and handling critical in-game logistics. You won’t be sitting behind a desk. You execute orders, and your performance determines how high you climb.

🔺 Agents ($49/mo)You step in as a fully-fledged field agent. Agents interact with NPCs, rival factions, and even other players—but you won’t always know who’s who. Every mission requires strategy, deception, and adaptability. Some will test your ability to extract intel. Some will force you to blend in. And some? You may not come back from.

Which role fits you? Decide wisely.

2️⃣First Contact – Entering the Game

📡 You’ve taken the first step. Now, prove you belong.

Your entry into Ghost Directive isn’t instant. Recruitment is just the beginning. Once you sign up, you enter a probationary period—a testing phase where The Center evaluates whether you can follow orders, adapt under pressure, and think like an operative.

📜 First Contact:

  • Your first directive will arrive—but you won’t know when.
  • It may come via email, text, or even a physical drop.
  • The instructions will be minimal. Your task? Figure it out.
  • Your response time, discretion, and execution will be evaluated.
  • Before your first assignment, you will be required to answer screening questions to generate your cover identity and assess your capabilities. Your ability to operate seamlessly with tasks and other agents depends on this profile.

📜 The Probationary Period – Learn by Doing:

  • Every new recruit—even paid Agents—start here.
  • Missions will be low-risk, but not easy. The Center expects results.
  • You may be tasked with retrieving a message, delivering an item, or decoding a signal.
  • Failure is expected. Repeated failure is not. Learn fast, or be ghosted.
  • The more missions you complete, the more responsibility you earn.

📡 "This is your first test. Some recruits disappear before they even start. Others rise fast. Which one are you?"

Which role fits you? Decide wisely.

3️⃣The Missions – What You’ll Be Doing

📜 Missions could involve:

  • Meeting a stranger in a coffee shop, exchanging a phrase, and passing off a coded message.
  • Receiving an anonymous package and delivering it without knowing what’s inside.
  • Retrieving a USB drive from a public locker—without being seen.
  • Following an unknown target without being noticed.
  • Attending a real corporate event and collecting intelligence.
  • Deciphering encrypted messages hidden inside real-world objects.

⚠️ What You WON’T Be Doing:

  • Breaking the law. All missions operate within legal boundaries.
  • Physically harming anyone. Espionage is about intelligence, not violence.
  • Using real hacking tools or illegal cyber activity. Intelligence gathering uses legal techniques and open-source research.
How you complete your mission is up to you. Just don’t get caught.

4️⃣ Who Do You Work For?

📡 "Loyalty is easy when you know who you serve. But here, nothing is that simple."

  • Your orders come from The Center—but what is The Center? A private intelligence network? A rogue agency? A machine learning how to control human operatives? No one knows for sure, and those who ask too many questions don’t always get answers—they just get noticed.
  • Some agents receive assignments from unknown sources. Sometimes the intel arrives before the mission request. Sometimes the orders contradict what you were told before. Is it a test? A mistake? Or is someone else pulling the strings?
  • There are forces at play beyond what you see. Some missions seem to push one agenda forward. Others seem to erase the work of previous assignments. Are you working against yourself? Are you a pawn in a larger game?
  • Your role is clear: Execute the directive. Whether or not you believe in the mission is irrelevant. Your job is to complete it.
  • But the choice is yours. Follow orders without question, or start looking deeper. Just remember—curiosity comes with consequences.

📡 "Follow the path in front of you, or start asking questions. Just be sure you’re ready for the answers."

Think you can trust The Center? Prove it.

6️⃣ Failure – The Reality of Espionage

📡 "Failure isn’t the end. Sometimes, it’s just part of the job."

  • In real-world intelligence operations, not everything goes as planned. Missions fail more often than you think.
  • Classified reports suggest that up to 60% of real-world intelligence operations encounter setbacks—late arrivals, missing assets, compromised drop points, or unpredictable changes.
  • Sometimes, the drop never arrives. Sometimes, the target never shows. Sometimes, it was never meant to succeed at all—it was a test to see if you’d show up.

📜 "Failure when it’s out of your control is acceptable. Failure when it’s in your control is not."

  • Being late happens. Being unprepared does not.
  • A dead drop going missing is a problem. Drawing attention while retrieving it is a failure.
  • A contact not showing up is frustrating. Letting someone know you were waiting for them is a mistake.
  • If something feels off, it might be. Not recognizing it? That’s what gets you burned.

📡 "The Center doesn’t expect perfection. But it does expect adaptability. You will fail. What matters is how you handle it."

Move up, or vanish.

7️⃣ THE LAW STILL APPLIES

📡 "Ghost Directive is a game. The real world is not. Know the difference."

"This isn’t a free pass to do whatever you want. If you break these rules, you will be ghosted. No second chances. No appeals. No explanations. The Center does not tolerate recklessness, stupidity, or people who can’t tell the difference between immersion and reality."

🚫 DO NOT BREAK THE LAW

📡 "This is a real-world espionage game, and that means real-world consequences apply."

  • No trespassing. If you’re somewhere you shouldn’t be, you’ve already failed. Drop zones are placed in public spaces—you do not go onto private property, restricted areas, or anywhere illegal.
  • No theft. If you weren’t explicitly given something as part of a mission, it is not yours. No exceptions.
  • No impersonating law enforcement, military, or government officials. You do not tell anyone you’re an agent. You do not flash fake badges. That’s not a game—it’s a felony.
  • No hacking, digital fraud, or illegal cyber activity. OSINT—Open-Source Intelligence—is part of the game. Breaking into systems is not.

📡 "The Center doesn’t cover for mistakes. If you break the law, that’s on you. This is a game of intelligence, not recklessness."

Move up, or vanish.

8️⃣ RESPECT THE GAME OR GET BURNED

This is an immersive experience. That means playing smart—not ruining it for others."

🚫 DO NOT BE A DICK TO OTHER PLAYERS

  • No stalking, harassment, or intimidation. If another player is uncomfortable, you are out. Simple.
  • No interfering with another player’s mission unless instructed. This is not a sandbox. If another operative is on a task, do not disrupt them.
  • No doxxing, no sharing personal information, no revealing who is a player and who isn’t. If you leak private details, you are done.
  • No sabotaging missions in ways that break immersion. Outsmarting someone is part of the game. Intentionally ruining their experience is not.

🚫 DO NOT PUT YOURSELF OR OTHERS IN DANGER

📡 "This is a game of intelligence, not recklessness. If you feel unsafe, disengage."

  • If a mission feels unsafe, abort it. There is no penalty for choosing safety.
  • If an actual emergency happens, call 911. The game is never more important than reality.
  • Use common sense. If you have to ask yourself, "Is this a bad idea?"—it probably is.

📡 "Ghost Directive is about thinking smart, not acting stupid. If you can’t follow these rules, you won’t be here long."

Move up, or vanish.

9️⃣ Play at Your Own Risk – Final Warning

📡 "You chose to be here. What happens next is on you."

Ghost Directive is an immersive, real-world espionage game. But make no mistake—it is still a game. You operate in real locations, interact with real people, and make real decisions. And with that comes real responsibility.

🚨 YOU PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

  • You are responsible for your actions. The Center gives you missions—how you complete them is up to you.
  • We do not provide security. You are in the real world, and real-world consequences apply.
  • If you break the law, that’s on you. The Center does not interfere. If you get caught, you do not mention Ghost Directive. You were never here.
  • You must use judgment, caution, and common sense. The game challenges you, but it does not encourage reckless behavior.
  • We are not liable for injuries, arrests, lost items, or poor decision-making.

📡 "The Center does not control you. It does not protect you. It only watches. Play smart, or disappear."

Move up, or vanish.
